    <abstract language="eng">It has been accepted that no foreign material placed within the living body is completely compatible currently there are many types of biomaterials used for the dental implants. The clinician should have adequate knowledge of these material to select an appropriate material to be used , which directly influences the success and longevity of the treatment. This paper reviews various biomaterials that are used in dental implants.</abstract>
