This article discusses a study of manual skills of the Kazakh people and the specifics of national ornaments. We presented the opinions and judgments of domestic and foreign scientists in this area. We showed the types, names of patterns, the combination of colors, the meanings of play actions, and their methods of work with ornaments in the preschool years.
