An investigation was carried out to assess the impact of pathogens (Pseudomonas putida), pesticide (Methyl parathion) and metal (Ferrous sulphate) on the oxygen consumption of the fish catla catla (Ham.). The effect of oxygen consumption were studies by exposing the fish cata catla to the toxicant. The changes in the oxygen increment was noticed with increasing exposure time.
