    <abstract language="eng">Histopathological changes in the gill tissue of the fish Catla catla exposed to sublethal concentration of Methyl parathion and Ferrous sulphate was studied. Marked pathological changes are observed ranging from bulging of tips of primary gill filaments to fusion of disorganized secondary gill filaments.</abstract>
