    <abstract language="eng"><p style="text-align: left;">Bivalve Parreysia corrugata is an important component of freshwater ecosystem of Indian sub-continent. In the present study an attempt was made to evaluate the genetic diversity of P. corrugata populations using RAPD markers.</p></abstract>
