Choukroun et al. in Francein 2000’s introduced the second generation of platelet concentrates (PRF)Platelet Rich Fibrin. PRF have comparatively several advantages over traditionally prepared PRP. In this review we are focusing on why Platelet Concentrates are so important in Healing and Regeneration and we will also discuss the journey of fibrin glue from PRP to PRF, i-PRF, t-PRF, L-PRF etc.
