Abstract: Oral leukoplakia [OL] is a relatively common oral lesion that which can undergoes malignant transformation. The aim of this review was to assess the effectiveness of treatments for leukoplakia. A medline search from 1983 to 2014 was conducted. The topical or systemic nonsurgical treatments or combination of both was reviewed.
