Abstract: This paper provides seed anatomy, morphology and germination capacity analysis of some species in the subfamily Sedoideae cultivated in Siberian Botanical Garden of Tomsk State University. The research helped us identify the morphological characteristics of seeds in 21 species and 2 subspecies. We measured the main morphometric parameters as well as described the shape, coloration and surface type of seeds. The internal structure of seeds was analyzed and their germination capacity was determined after three months of storage.
