Abstract: The herd size of Indian Black Buck (Antilope cervicapra) Linn. is studied at M.C Zoological park, Chhatbir (Pb). During the studies the behaviour of the old male and female black buck was contrary to the normal herd composition. The present studies revealed that the old male and female black buck remains lonely during most part of the year in comparison to the young bucks and does.
