Effect of Heavy Metals on the Histopathology of Gills and Brain of Fresh Water Fish Catla catla

Abstract: Histopathological effect of acute concentrations of heavy metals such as copper, ferroussulphate were studied. Results revealed extensive histopathological abnormalities in the internal structure of gill and brain of Catlacatla exposed to copper and ferrous sulphate in contrast to that of control fish, showing the severity of heavy metal toxicity.
